Zu Anfang nach Einführung der Weste 1943 wurden auch 600 dieser Westen in England gefertigt, von der berühmten Wilkinson Sword Company. Diese hier ist eine davon. Die größere Anzahl der Westen wurde (in oliv statt dem englichen braunoliv als Weste M-! und Schütze M-3) in den USA von verschiedenen Herstellern von 1943 – 1944 gefertigt. Front- und Rückenschutz, mit der zugehörigen, anhängbaren Schutzschürze. Dieses Modell hier wurde von den U.S. Fliegern und auch von den fliegenden Besatzungen der RAF benutzt. Stempelung: “ N broad arrow B “ , Schnellausstiegs-Funktion: an dem roten Gurt ziehen und die Weste fällt zu Boden. Guter, vollständiger, kompletter und originaler Zustand. Referenz: Buch “ Gear Up! Sehr seltenes Ausrüstungsstück der fliegenden US und auch RAF Besatzungen im 2.Weltkrieg, zumal die frühe und auch noch englische Fertigung noch seltener ist.

Initially, following the vest’s introduction in 1943, 600 pieces of these vests were also manufactured in England by the famous Wilkinson Sword Company. This here is one of them.
